Once, when he was passing by a forest, he heard someone’s voice asking for help. He followed the sound and helped the needy who turned out to be the God Dionysus. Being happy with the kindness of Midas, God promised him to grant one of his wishes. Without thinking for a second Midas asked God to grant him the wish that everything he touched would turn into gold.
At first, it felt like a blessing, but later the king couldn’t eat anything because everything he touched turned into gold, even his food. He then realized that it was not actually a boon but a curse. He regretted his decision and realized how his greed made him blind.

The lion laughed and said, “You tiny creature, how can you be of help to me?”. He granted mercy to the mouse and spared his life.
Years passed and the lion forgot about the incident. One day, while stalking his prey, he got caught in a hunter’s net. He tried his best but he couldn’t escape from the net. Meanwhile, the mouse came and helped the lion in getting out of the net by biting the net.

Kambugriv was the most talkative among all three of them. The forest they were living in soon started to experience drought. The wildlife and vegetation of the forest started dying due to scarcity of water. The animals of the forest decided to relocate to a nearby forest which has enough water.
The trio also decided to move together to a different location, but the problem was how. The geese could fly, but the turtle couldn’t reach that place. So the trio made a plan that Sanu and Manu would hold a stick by either side on their beaks and Kambugriv would hold the center part of the stick in his mouth and they will travel to the location. The only problem was that Kambugriv was very talkative and wouldn’t keep his mouth shut for a long time, still, they executed the plan.
